Bio:What to say about me? I like to think I'm intelligent, although I'd be the first to admit I have to look up words like 'inchoate' and 'verisimilitude'. Actually having said that, I now know what they mean, but I'm sure there are more words that will require my repairing to the dining room to steal one of my father's dictionaries.
That brings me on to my living conditions. I live in the outskirts of London, with my father and our cat Sooty. I say our - she's mine but my dad uses her as an excuse not to tidy up so often. I mainly do the tidying up, so I look on myself as a housewife in training.
I'd love to travel, since I've never been outside of Europe, technically, although I have been to Fuertaventura which I can't really think of as part of Europe. I'd love to go to America, Africa, Australia, and I wouldn't mind visiting areas of China and Japan, and while I've already visited some parts of Italy and France I'd love to return because they're so beautiful. I also visited paranoid_blonde in Berlin just after Easter 2006 for just over a week, which was a really interesting experience.
I haven't got a job at the moment, but I have had aspirations to work in a primary school, although I've considered other options, like being a flight attendant (while I'm young, pretty and can cope with the scheduling!) and I've been known to take on waitressing work if necessary. (although I'm not sure I enjoy that any more!)
I'm proud of being a Londoner, as proud as I am of being British, although I'd be the first to point out that there are many faults with my dear homeland!

I have an amazon wishlist too (under DistractoGirl) and buying things off it for me will make me very distracted, and happy! Other things that make me happy include sweets and chocolate.

Oh, and an advance warning - if you comment anonymously to my livejournal, and don't sign it, or give any indication as to who you are, and I can't figure out who you are, I might just be overly aggressive towards you.
